These are a selection of paintings spanning from 2001 to the present. I have dealt with abstract forms and then more realistic forms within my work. Most of the paintings apply an intensity and expressive manner.

These are simple and reflective photos that I have either taken overseas or stateside. When I usually take photos I am looking for the dramatic in the landscape or in the subject.

These are three installation I have done in 2018.
The first installation is referencing the mass influx of people to the Denver metro area and how the city’s infrastructure is not able to meet the demands of a great number of people for such a young city. All of these pieces were either done with a stencil or drawn free-hand.
The second installation is in reference to playfulness, fun, childhood, memory, and nostalgia. This piece was done simply with a child’s suitcase, notebook paper, metal wire, cardboard, 300 lumen portable light, fan, speaker, and an ipod.
The second is a work in progress. This piece deals with the truth being or not being spoken. All too often we want our ears to be tickled by others around us so that we do not have to deal with the truth of the situation. This piece also deals with identity and how we have a true identity, but are we willing to risk being made fun of or ridiculed to have this new identity.
With this piece, I am currently working with five casts of my ear, three-volt motor, Arduino board, feathers, mobile corner with casters, batteries, and various wiring. This piece is finally done! The final piece shown is the last three pictures.
