Developed a 2 part lesson plan lasting 4 weeks revolving around a field work to the Monet exhibit at the Denver Art Museum. This lesson examines how light is portrayed in everyday experiences. Initially the students will view various images from Monet and Goodnight Moon, and then use different drawing materials to create what their bedroom looks like either in the morning, noon, or night. Following the field work, the students will be taken outside during various times of the day to examine how light changes the surroundings and draw their images.
